Create Custom QR Codes Instantly

A Quick Response (QR) code is a two-dimensional barcode capable of holding thousands of alphanumeric characters. PixelFLowConvertor’s free QR Code Generator lets you construct scan-ready codes dynamically inside your browser, retaining full pixel clarity for both digital and print media.

How to use the Generator

  1. Enter Content: Type or paste any plain text, a website URL, an email address, or phone number into the input box.
  2. Design & Style: Leave standard black-and-white for maximum compatibility, or match your brand by customizing the foreground and background colors.
  3. Select Size: Designing a business card? A lower resolution (300px) is fine. Printing a large poster? Maximize the slider up to 1000px.
  4. Generate & Download: Click Generate to update the Live Preview, then hit Download to save a crisp PNG to your computer.

What is Error Correction Level?

QR codes have built-in redundancy, which means that even if a part of the code is damaged, dirty, or obscured, cameras can still read it. The Error Correction Level determines how much redundancy is added:

  • Low (7%): Produces the simplest, least-dense pattern. Ideal if you need to squeeze a long URL into a very tiny print space.
  • Medium (15%) & Quartile (25%): Standard balance between density and robustness.
  • High (30%): Makes the QR code very dense, but allows up to 30% of the image to be completely ripped off or covered (e.g. by a custom logo) without breaking the scan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are Static QR Codes. The data is hard-coded directly into the geometric pattern itself. As long as the destination URL remains active, the QR code will work forever.
Why did the scan fail when I changed the colors?
Smartphone cameras require high contrast to distinguish the pattern. Ensure your Foreground color is significantly darker than your Background color.
